At work
Sion has worked in financial services since 2010, initially working in marketing and swiftly moving on to protection and wealth management services. In 2017, Sion completed his diploma for financial advisers via the London Institute of Banking and Finance.
In 2020, Sion joined JWA, after a few years working as a wealth management consultant for the Insurance company, Vitality. In 2020, he also completed the relevant exams to allow him to advise on estate planning business.
Sion looks after clients all over the south of Wales and some parts of England. The majority of his clients are based mid-south to south west Wales due to him living on the outskirts of Swansea.
Sion is passionate about how holistic financial planning can have such an important outcome on client’s retirement planning and peace of financial mind in general. He also feels privileged to be an independent, whole of market adviser with no restrictions to restrict him on being able to use the most suitable financial tools to suit his client’s needs.
At home
Sion is married to Hannah, and they have two children, Logan and Millie. Weeknights and weekends are often jam packed with dance practice for Millie or Rugby for Logan. In his free time, Sion enjoys Rugby coaching where he is presently the coach of the Ospreys 18s women, East Swansea Eagles 18s women, Swansea East Schoolboys 16s and Gorseinon Boys under 15s, where his son Logan plays. He also enjoys road biking as well, when time permits.
